Winter hazzard

Groupwork exercise to consider winter safety

The students have a look at a picture of a desolate winter landscape in the Czech textbook and try to describe it using various adjectives, as many as possible. Then they debate about the different hazards one can encounter during the winter. Together they choose the hazard of insufficient ice layer and write a story of a boy who fell through the ice on a pond.
