Work Experience - Swedish model
Purpose: to get an insight and a broader perspective on what it means to work, and to get an increased self-knowledge and self-perception. Dare to face challenges such as contacting different businesses to seek a place to do the work experience, call and introduce yourself and getting contact with people outside of school. Was carried out week 42 for grade 9, and week 5 and week 13 for grade 8.

Handling of bus cards + which ones who have the right to get a bus card, business contacts, student- and parent contacts.
The project: student visits at different companies by study- and vocational counsellors + teachers.
Completion: Students are doing an evaluation of their work experience. After they’ve done all three weeks of work experience, they receive the companies’ evaluation on their work from the study- and vocational counsellors.
